After a stellar regular season, the time has come for the Upper Valley Nighthawks to really show what they’re made of.

The team will take on the Valley Blue Sox at 6:30 p.m. tonight at Maxfield Sports Complex in White River Junction. Tonight is game one in the best-of-three playoff series.

The Nighthawks have been kings in the North (Northern Division, that is) for some time now: They’ve been firmly in first place since the second week of the summer, and they took the division’s No. 1 seed on July 29.

They’re hoping to keep the magic going for just a little bit longer.
