Our long state nightmare is over: Zippy the Elf on the Shelf is home safe and sound.

Deerfield, N.H.’s beloved life-sized elf is back where he belongs, after disappearing for more than a day.

Thankfully, Zippy was found in front of a house across town from where he was last seen. He was inexplicably wet, but otherwise unharmed.
