Congrats, Vermonters.

America’s Health Ranking’s 2017 Annual Report has listed Vermont among the healthiest states in the U.S., according to a Wednesday report published by Time Magazine.

The Green Mountain State came in third, a ranking that is rather notable, according to the results:

Vermont has made remarkable improvement over the last 25-plus years, leaping from 30th in 1990 — the inception of the rankings — to third in 2017.

New Hampshire wasn’t far behind, coming in at No. 8.

Massachusetts claimed the top spot, and Hawaii came in second.

Mississippi, meanwhile, was named the least healthiest state.
