Nick Stickney of Blakeman’s Towing & Recovery works to remove a New Jersey man’s Jeep Wrangler from a ditch after the vehicle was struck by an Amtrak passenger train on Thursday night at a railroad crossing on North Windsor Street in South Royalton. Police said the Jeep’s driver was trying to tow another car up the driveway that intersects with the tracks at the time of the crash. No one was injured, but the Jeep was totaled.
