Thank you, Mark Creighton, for the ~reflective~ photo of Mascoma Lake, as seen from Route 4/Enfield near the La Salette Shrine.
TONIGHT, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY
JAGfest, a weekend performing arts festival of new works all celebrating the talents of African-American playwrights and performing artists, kicks off tonight at 7:30 in White River Junction and runs all weekend.
ALSO ON FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY
SATURDAY DURING THE DAY
Enfield is The Place To Be!
- Beginning at noon, the Mascoma Sailing Club and the Enfield Village Association will host a “Winter WingDing” at Mascoma Lakeside Park. The event is free and goes to 4 p.m.
- Also taking place in Enfield will be the annual Snowshoe Festival at the Enfield Shaker Museum. The event — held from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. — features guided snowshoe tours and opportunities to explore trails at one’s own pace. There will also be sled dog rides, lunch and a bonfire (with toasted marshmallows of course).
We already told ya about the whole thing with the flannel and the world record attempt and the basketball.
BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE!
There’s also The Pilgrims playing a show at the Windsor Station. (You may remember they have a fun new video.) They’re joined by Faux in Love and it all starts at 9:30 p.m.
JAGfest and the Newport Winter Festival continue. And also, what a busy weekend. Maybe take a nap?
