New this afternoon: After Defeat, Royalton Residents Seek Second Vote on School Consolidation:

A group of Royalton residents plans to seek a second vote on a school consolidation plan that was defeated in town earlier this month but passed in Bethel and Rochester.


The newly formed Royalton Re-Vote Committee — which includes former Royalton School Board member Laurie Smith — issued a statement today that said many residents “felt they were not well-informed” about the potential benefits of the consolidation when they voted.
