The scorching heat set new records in the Northeast but was not the cause of a 3.4-acre brush fire in Hartford this week (blame goes to some downed power lines).
Meanwhile, nearly half of New Hampshire’s bees aren’t around to enjoy the rays because they died over the winter from a range of causes, according to a survey by the New Hampshire Beekeepers Association. RIP bees, who are a pretty big deal.
