The most popular paint colors in all 50 states. (Source: Behr Paint)
Behr Paint has unveiled the most popular paint colors in each of the 50 states, and I hate to sound clickbaity here, but the results may surprise you.
While I’m not shocked that folks in the Twin States were inspired by nature’s lush hues, I am struck by how different they are. New Hampshire’s favorite, “Gingko,” is a light, pale medium green, and Vermont’s pick, “Mermaid Sea,” is a rich blue-green. They’re kinda pretty, actually; they’re just on opposite ends of the green spectrum. It’s fitting, in a way. Green is my favorite color, so I’m pleased to see both states picked a green hue.
More importantly, how do I get a job coming up with names for paint colors? Help a girl out.

so, based on this … my next life should be somewhere like alaska, indiana, montana, new mexico or ohio. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This is a misleading, clickbait press release. Read it carefully. These are not the “most popular” colors in NH/VT. These are colors that each state supposedly “buys more than its neighbors.” In other words, many traditional colors are certainly far more popular than Ginkgo and Mermaid Sea. They’re just a bit more popular than usual around here.
