You might recall that Dartmouth College sold Centerra Marketplace, a nearly 11-acre property along Lebanon’s Route 120, to a Massachusetts real estate and investment firm last year. One of the major tenants there is the Co-op Food Stores.
Today, the Co-op announced it has signed a 15-year lease with the new owners, with two options for 10-year renewals thereafter.
“Signing this lease and preserving our home at Centerra is good news for our members, staff, local farmers, and the communities we all serve,” Ed Fox, who joined the Co-op as its new general manager last winter, said in a news release. “Our Lebanon store is the primary source of food for thousands of people and provides good jobs and benefits for many Upper Valley residents.”
