According to the Upper Valley Haven, this past Saturday’s Turkey Day — where the Haven donates turkeys — set a new record, with 700+ households served. That’s up from 564 last year.
In the organization’s email newsletter, officials said the uptick illustrates “the kind of need that exists in the Upper Valley and across Vermont and New Hampshire.”
Plus, the Vermont Foodbank donated 8,000+ lbs of potatoes and butternut squash.
And the Upper Valley Vixens were on hand to direct traffic!
