The Leverone Field House in Hanover, N.H., was the scene of hectic activity as workmen labored to clear booths and displays from the highly successful Trades Fair to make room for the 15th annual North Country Auto Show, sponsored by the Hanover Lions Club on March 27, 1965. Once the spacious field house was cleared, auto dealers from throughout the Upper Valley, moved their line of 1965 cars into pre-designated spots. Capturing a choice spot, located just inside one of the many entrances, was Baker and Heijn of White River Junction, Vt. Their display of foreign compacts and sports cars drew the attention of young and old and young at heart. (Valley News – Larry McDonald) Copyright Valley News.
