Gone fishin’: Someone’s trying to hook the Bethel trout

On Sunday, Valley News staff photographer James M. Patterson noticed the hook dangling in front of the mural that was designed by Mary Lacy.

No word what kind of bait that is — one of the Upper Valley’s aggressively wiggling crazy snake worms, perhaps?
