A Valley News Publication

Here’s an update from the Upper Valley Humane Society about a “very special day” they had on Oct. 25:

Charity came to us 2½ years ago from a dog meat farm in South Korea via Humane Society International. When she arrived, she was terrified and wouldn’t walk. She’d spent her life in a small cage and didn’t know anything else. It took 2 staff members to carry her in and out of our buildings to work with her.

Charity is a different dog 2 1/2 years later – greeting people, running around the yard, learning new things, and she continues to make progress each day.

Yesterday, Charity found her person and was adopted. We are over the moon and so grateful for the incredible love she is already being shown.

Please join us in congratulating this new family! <3
