As I mentioned on Monday, Hanover native Ben “DJ B-Roc” Ruttner, who is one half of the musical duo The Knocks, appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he joined up with Sofi Tukker and Nervo to perform their new song Best Friend. Watch the fun performance below! (Ruttner is wearing a dark gray T-shirt and beanie.)
The Upper Valley’s own Ben Ruttner, better known as DJ B-Roc, is set to appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon tonight.
Ruttner is one half of The Knocks, an electronic music duo (James “JPatt” Patterson, no relation to the Valley News photographer, is the other half). The Knocks join fellow musical duos Sofi Tukker and Nervo for a performance of Sofi Tukker’s song Best Friend, on which Nervo, The Knocks and Alisa Ueno are featured.
You know this song because it’s currently in an Apple commercial advertising the iPhone X. It’s v catchy!
The show will air at 11:35 p.m. on NBC.
During rehearsals on Sunday, Ruttner posted a video on his Instagram highlighting the groups’ busy week of appearances: Fallon on Monday, TRL on Wednesday. (I personally appreciate that he’s rocking Bean boots in the video.)
