The AP report goes on to say that Anderson and other state officials said “they would not endorse the idea of requiring winter tires through a legal mandate.”
It’s not that unusual a mandate — interestingly, our neighbors to the north, the Canadians, require all vehicles registered in the province of Quebec have snow tires. (The more you know.)
Do you put snow tires on your car?
